HEARING / NOVAK DJOKOVIC - MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS [ LIVE ]

Hearing / Novak Djokovic - MHA Australia [ live ] - Law Office Pekic

The news that the world number 1 was denied the right to enter Australia raised attention of the Serbian as well as the worldwide tennis public. Allegedly, Novak Djokovic did not fulfill all the conditions to be exempted from the rule that only vaccinated people can enter Australia. Novak's documentation did not meet all the conditions for the medical exemption, claims the Ministry of Home Affairs of Australia.

On the other hand, there are claims that the said decision of Australian authorities was inspired by political and not legal motives, and that other tennis players, unlike Novak, received approval under the same conditions and entered Australia.

Both sides will have the opportunity to present their arguments at the court hearing, which you can watch live online. The hearing can be followed via the Microsoft teams application, according to the instructions from the enclosed link.

Hearing is scheduled to be held on Monday at 10 AM local time (00:00 between Sunday and Monday CET).
